About R.M. Williams
R.M. Williams was founded by Reginald Murray Williams in South Australia in 1932, and has been making boots for bushmen, farmers and city folk ever since. The signature boots are still handmade in Adelaide, each cut from a single piece of leather with one seam at the back, and Goodyear welted so they can be resoled again and again. Look after a pair and they'll last you for years.

Fitting R.M. Williams boots
- R.M. Williams boots should feel snug across the instep when new. The leather will soften and mould to your foot as you wear them in.
- Your heel will lift slightly as you walk at first. This settles as the sole flexes.
- Many styles come in different widths, so ask us to measure your foot and we'll find the best fit.
Caring for your boots
A good pair of R.M. Williams boots deserves looking after. Brush them off after wearing, condition the leather every few months, and polish with a colour-matched cream polish. We stock R.M. Williams boot polish, conditioner and travel care kits in store. Read our leather care guide for more tips.
