York from Hinako is what we’d call a winter boot with a bit of presence. Tall through the ankle and dressed in rich brown leather that looks rather pleased with itself, it’s set on a chunky tread sole that means business when the weather turns. Twin side zips keep things easy (no wrestling required), while the full leather lining keeps it all feeling properly civilised. Looks just as good with a sharp pair of pants as it does with a skirt and a bit of attitude. A bold little number for winter, really.
